Tim Pifer– Assistant Coach

 

Tim Pifer is a new teacher to Blythewood High this year, coming from Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador where he taught Industrial Arts classes, physical education, directed the intramural sports program and coached boys varsity and JV soccer for four years. During his 22 years in Ecuador, he has also coached roller hockey and saw both of his sons play on the Ecuadorian national roller hockey team. He grew up in Honduras where he learned to love soccer. He attended Ben Lippen High in Asheville NC during the 70’s. where he played varsity soccer and was honored by being selected his junior and senior years to the All South Atlantic Regional High School team. He graduated from Columbia International University where he played on the college club team all four years. Tim is currently working on his masters in Career and Technology Education at Clemson University. Tim has two girls and two boys who all graduated from high school in Ecuador and are in college and beyond. He is excited about being able to lend a coaching hand and a maybe a few ideas to Lady Bengal Soccer.
