Armando Yturria– Head Coach Girls Junior Varsity Soccer

 

Sergeant Major Armando Yturria retired in 2005 from the United States Army after serving 24 years.  He finishes a very successful second year as the as Junior Varsity Head Coach and will be coming back for the 2007-2008 season.  The JV Lady Bengals finished with a third place standing in the state and a final record of 12-4-2.  Coach Yturria's previous coaching experience includes Junior League Soccer, Army Soccer (unit/intramural) and also high school football as assistant coach at Zama American High School, Japan.  Coach Yturria currently teaches JROTC for Blythewood High School and also serves the community as a law enforcement officer (Reserve Deputy) with Richland County Sheriff's Department.  Coach Yturria has a wonderful wife named Maria (also a cop) and they have one beautiful daughter named Harley (4 y/o), who is a Lady Bengal in training.  Coach Yturria and his family welcome everyone out to experience the thrill and excitement of the upcoming season.
